Ruud Gompel
For the last decades, Ruud is a familiar friendly face for all customers of Sheargold Pianos in Cobham Surrey. It is there where he learned the trade from the best teachers in the business. He turned out to be an excellent tuner, using both aural and modern techniques to make pianos sound as good as they can get.
Ruud also specialized in toning pianos, using contemporary and “old school” techniques to restore the beautiful tone of pianos that through the years lost their voice.
My Approach
Where most other piano tuners might do a race against the clock so they can book more appointments per day, my approach is to take enough time to do every job as good as I possibly can. Whether you have an old 6 octave Kemble Upright or a 9 foot Concert Grand, I will give it the same care and attention, as if it were my own.
